One of the great challenges of today's societies is to enable intervention strategies that contribute to active ageing in order to prevent situations of dependence that may be caused by physical or biological factors but which, in general, have to do with psycho-affective issues of these individuals. In addition, with this course the student will learn the necessary knowledge to carry out both animation activities and physical activity exercises with the elderly sector with the aim of guaranteeing their well-being and improving their quality of life. Social and educational institutions must not forget their socialising function and their objective of achieving the integral development of the person. This is why sociocultural animation is emerging as a methodology to favour motivation and personal enrichment. This course offers students training in the management of cultural, leisure and free time activity programmes and in the dynamisation of groups and conflict resolution.
