One of the great challenges of today's societies is to enable intervention strategies that contribute to active ageing in order to prevent situations of dependence that may be caused by physical or biological factors but which, in general, have to do with psycho-affective issues of these individuals. With this course, the student will learn the necessary knowledge to carry out both animation activities and recreational physical activity exercises with the elderly sector with the aim of guaranteeing their well-being and improving their quality of life. In addition to offering training in the management of programmes of cultural, leisure and free time activities and in the dynamisation of groups and conflict resolution. Social and educational institutions must not forget their socialising function and their objective of achieving the integral development of the person.
